Families goes hungry,poverty became the other of the the day, as Imo state civil workers, run out of patient for their unpaid salaries been own to them for the past five months, after unfruitful meetings with the IMO state governor, Governor Rochas Okorocha concerning the unpaid salaries to civil workers, by the the labor union in Imo state, Imo state workers decided to embark on five (5) days warning strike to stress their grievances on their unpaid dues. most people condemns gov Rochas's salary structure, as some sectors where selectively paid, while other sectors like primary schools workers were been abandon for over on year now. although the governor promise to provide a lasting solution to this problem through his below statement.
“I want to appeal to workers in Imo State, especially those concerned, to shun the strike at this time we are trying to rebuild the entire state for the good of our people,” he said. “We did enter an agreement.
